Undergraduate Audition Requirements
Two contrasting selections. These may include all-region etudes, solo contest pieces, or movements from larger solo works. Choose music that best demonstrates your strengths as a player. Repertoire from the following list, or similar, would be appropriate for your audition.

Bozza - Improvisation et Caprice
Creston - Sonata
Dubois - Concerto
Ferling - 48 Famous Studies
Glazunov - Concerto
Heiden - Sonata
Ibert - Concertino da Camera
Maurice - Tableaux de Provence
Milhaud - Scaramouche
All major scales, in as many octaves as you are comfortable.
Chromatic scale covering a comfortable range.
A short sight-reading excerpt may be included.
An accompanist is not required and will not affect your audition results.
